My family and I are going on a road trip this coming week. Yep. My husband, my two year old and my 7 months pregnant self are hitting the road for some family fun. Aside from the long hours in the car with my husband's road rage, the husband-wife arguments (mostly over my husband's road rage), the whiny toddler, my horrible navigation skills and the uncomfortable baby bump, I'm sure we'll have a great time. Except...what if we don't? I came across this article, Murphy's Laws of Traveling With Kids, and now I'm stressing out. We've taken road trips with our little guy before, and everything turned out fine. But we've never taken a trip with a toddler while I was a hormonal pregnant woman. What if my pregnancy brain causes me to forget to pack something important? What if our little guy decides that the long car ride is the best time to throw a tantrum? What if....WHAT IF I GO INTO EARLY LABOR WHILE WE'RE TRAVELING? I'm trying not to think about all the "what ifs," but I've always been a worrier. And now that I'm a mother, I worry even more. I'm trying to be positive and I'm sure everything will work out fine.
