Swimming in Style

Posted by Leena Kollar on 11th Jun 2014

I am going to a family reunion on the lake in a couple of weeks. And I don't know about you, but my post-pregnancy body hasn't seen a swimming pool in, well, a very long time. However, I am very much looking forward to breaking out the monokini and taking a dip with my little one. If he has as much fun in the lake as he does in the bathtub, it will be a fun and entertaining time. For me, lakes and pools are an indication that summer is here. And I love summer! For many kids, it is a time for swimming lessons and swim meets, among other summer activities. It can also be a time for kids to experience jet skiing or surfing. The nice thing about water is that there is bound to be at least one activity that everyone can enjoy (synchronized swimming, anyone?). It is rare to find little boy swimwear that is really different or unique, simply because you can only do so much to make swim trunks interesting (please don't let this discourage you from trying to find amazing swimwear for your dudes). For little girls, designers can be more creative. Here are a few of my favorite swimwear pieces for girls from PinkPrincess.
