Still Falling for Fall

Posted by Grace on 11th Sep 2012

Here are some fun crafts to do with the kiddies while we wait for our favorite season to arrive.  The little ones will enjoy expressing their creativity, while you will enjoy teaching them about the changing of seasons and the wonderful elements of autumn.

~~~
Scrap Wreath
Stretch out a wire hanger.
So it looks like a circle.
Tie scrap fall-colored fabric all around.
You can also make it with various shades of autumn-toned TULLE for a tutu-inspired wreath!
~~~

Simply Gourd-geous

Wash and dry different sized gourds.

Take stem off the bigger gourd.

Stack the smaller gourd on top of the bigger gourd.

Glue the two gourds together.

Add trimmings.

Name new friend.

I will call you Pixie Pineneedle

~~~
One for the grown-ups to make
Hot glue cinnamon sticks around a large pillar candle.
Tie it all together with twine.
Tie it tightly, because the glue will melt once candle gets hot
Place on saucer.
Can you smell it?
One more thing...this coupon is still good!
