My dad is the absolute best guy I know. My husband comes close in 2nd place, but there's nobody like my daddy. From the moment I was born, my dad and I have had a very strong bond, as is the case with most fathers and daughters. My dad was the first man I ever met. (Okay, maybe the doctor who delivered me was the first man I met, but daddy was the first important one.) The first man who ever loved me. The first guy I had a crush on. He taught me how to drive. He showed me what it means to be a good husband. He walked me down the aisle. To this day, my father continues to support, love, encourage and provide for me.
With Father's Day this weekend, how could I possibly not dedicate this week's post to dads everywhere? Not just biological dads. Stepdads. Adoptive dads. Foster dads. Granddads. Fur baby dads. And even relatives who have taken on the role of dad. Whoever "dad" is in your life, let him know how much he means to you. If you don't have a father figure in your life, thank another dad you know who does an amazing job at being a father.
Dad- I want you to know that I love you so much, and I'm so thankful to have been raised by such a supportive, protective and loving man.
