I was looking through the local parenting magazine that comes out every month in my area. It lists local events and activities, and offers parenting advice and information on various support groups for parents. This month's issue was packed with fall activities. And it makes sense. There is a lot going on in fall- from Halloween to Thanksgiving, fall has always been a very festive season. And for many kids, that means lots of fun fall themed things to do- and make. Sadly, my little guy is not quite old enough yet for us to make or bake things together, but I know many of you have kids that love fall recipes.

Have you thought about some of the fun foods you can make with your kids? There are tons and tons of ideas on sites like Pinterest, and of course you can always come up with your own. Do you have a "go to" fall recipe or project that you and your kids do every year?There are also lots of school projects that involve fall leaves and painting using fingers and hands (mostly for the little tots).

If you and/or your kids need a way to channel your crafty side this fall, you can be creative and inventive by making some totally fun fall foods or fall-themed projects. Get your children involved by asking them what ideas they have- you might be surprised just how creative they are!
