One of my favorite things about fall is the wide array of scents and flavors it offers. The candles in the store come in delicious smells that make your kitchen and your home inviting. It gets me in the mood for baking- which is not something I have much interest in. There is something about fall that makes me want to curl up on the couch with my family and cuddle under a blanket with a mug of hot chocolate. And so, when it comes to fall weddings, there are lots of ways to incorporate the season's scents and flavors with your wedding cake.

For wedding cake decorations, you can use any of the following festive "toppings:"- Seasonal flowers (roses, gerbera daisies, calla lilies, freesia) & leaves
- Seasonal fruits (cranberries, pears, apples, grapes, pumpkins)
- Fall colored decor (deep reds, browns and oranges)
- Spice or pumpkin spice
- Red velvet
- Carrot cake
- White chocolate cake w/ cranberry filling
I don't know about you, but I'm in the mood for some delicious fall flavored wedding cake now! Maybe I should try that baking thing again...
