Delicious, Fun & Easy to Make Halloween Ghost Brownies

Posted by Leena Kollar on 28th Oct 2015

I'm no Betty Crocker. But I'm working on being more domestic, especially in the kitchen. So when I come across recipes that are super easy, I usually give them a try. And if they turn out well, I bookmark them for later use. I recently came across a seriously easy Nutella brownie recipe that I want to share. What's great about this recipe is that you can customize the treat for holidays. With Halloween this weekend, I thought I'd show you how to add some spook to these brownies. Here's how to make Halloween Ghost Brownies.

  Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup Nutella
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup of flour
  • Marshmallows
  • White Frosting
Directions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix Nutella, eggs & flour together in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Pour mixture into a brownie pan.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes and let cool.
  5. Cut into squares as needed.
  6. Plop a bit of Nutella on top of each brownie and spread.
  7. Stick a large marshmallow on top of Nutella topping to make the marshmallow stick.
  8. Melt the frosting for 30 seconds, stirring every ten seconds to break it up.
  9. Drizzle over the marshmallow on each brownie.
  10. Once cooled, use a toothpick to create eyes and a mouth on the covered marshmallows with black icing.
And there you have it! A "boo-licious" Halloween treat that is easy to make and hard to resist. Your kids will love making these with you, and they are the perfect treat for a Halloween party. But of course, you can certainly enjoy them on your own!
