Creating a Fall Wedding Makeup Look Using Seasonal Colors

Posted by Leena Kollar on 9th Sep 2015

One of the best things about fall is the gorgeous color palette it brings. Deep, rich earth tones remind us of the beauty that Mother Nature is. Fall weddings are usually beautiful, because they incorporate fall colors. You can represent the fall season with your bridal party's attire, your decor, or even your wedding dress by simply adding a fall colored sash or shoes. But what about your makeup? Have you thought about the look you want for that? In the fall, makeup colors are great because of their natural tones that work on everyone. If you don't want to go overboard with fall elements for your wedding, but you want just a hint of the season present, consider creating a fall makeup look. Here are some ideas for incorporating fall colors. Your individual coloring should be taken into consideration. Eye shadow that contrasts with your eye color will make those beauties really pop. If you want a bold lip, don't go too dark if you have very fair skin. Try these tips:

  • Choose a gold/brown/peachy color eye shadow
  • Go with a brown or green eyeliner
  • Pucker up with a rich red or burnt orange
You want to use colors that are found in nature. Think of a sunset, greenery, foliage and seasonal foods. If you are hiring a professional makeup artist, ask their advice on which fall colors work best on you. No matter what you decide regarding your wedding makeup, you will look fabulous!
