Beach Wedding Style

Posted by Leena Kollar on 29th Apr 2015

For some couples who are planning a wedding, the idea of a formal affair with a large guest list is not appealing. Some couples envision a more laid back occasion with a small group of friends and family in attendance. Spring and summer are the perfect seasons to create an intimate wedding on the beach. For the bride who wants more casual attire, a long, traditional wedding dress is not necessary. Instead, something more bohemian or free-spirited works. Beach wedding shoes can also be very casual. Ballet flats or barefoot sandals always look great for beach weddings. Some brides even choose to go completely barefoot for the ceremony. When it comes to styling your hair for a beach wedding, most women go with something loose and flowing. If wind is expected the day of your wedding, you might consider a hairstyle where at least some of your hair is pulled up. However, loose waves are popular this year. Going with a beachy style headband or hair piece will help keep your locks under control while still giving you that "messy" look. As for beach wedding makeup, you want to keep it just as natural as the rest of your look. A pop of color on the lips is all you need to complement your neutral makeup.
